5 Facebook Groups To Join To Help Grow Your Business

Social Media

Okay, guys – scoot your chairs in a little closer, because I need to talk to you about something. I’m hoping you’ll understand, because my friends have been making fun of me.

I’m a Facebook junkie.

There, I said it. I know, I know. Facebook isn’t exactly the preferred social media platform of the cool kids these days, and (according to the quick Google search I did just now) the average Facebook user is exactly 40.5 years old. But I’m telling you, those Facebook moms are onto something! They may share the occasional controversial meme or embarrass their children with some unflattering tween photos, but they’re onto something.

I’ll let you in on the secret: Facebook is a great resource for marketing. Who would’ve thought? I have been able to connect with, gain input from, give feedback to, and chat business with so many like-minded creatives and entrepreneurs.

So, my friends can make fun of me all they want, but networking has never been easier.

Now, when I say Facebook, I really mean Facebook groups. I’m not a big news feed scroller, but when it comes to these groups, you better believe I’m liking and commenting on everything even remotely relevant. As someone who loves to talk business, It can get addicting!

What’s on my mind? Well, glad you asked! I want to share with you my 5 favorite Facebook groups for digital marketing, so your friends can make fun of you for being a Facebook junkie, too. And also so you can expand your business, promote your services, and network with other women in your niche.

Boss Project

The Boss Project group, hosted by Abagail Pumphrey and Emylee Williams, is such a useful, supportive community. I love to use this group to ask for recommendations on new business tools and resources to use. Everyone in this group is quick to offer their help, so I love to ask them for feedback on the projects I’m working on.

Goal Digger Insiders

The Goal Digger Insiders was originally created by Jenna Kutcher for the listeners of her podcast, but it has evolved into much more than that. Goal Digger is now a huge community with more than 59,000 members, providing entrepreneurs of all sorts of niches with a place to connect. As Jenna put it, “it’s like the best spicy marg-filled happy hour mixed with a super-uplifting and mega-educational mastermind with some serious powerhouse women and men who are building their dream lives with the help of one another.” I love referencing Goal Digger for all of the inspirational content.

The Social Bungalow

For great educational resources and trainings, The Social Bungalow is where it’s at. This group allows you opportunities to promote your products and services, and is focused on helping you scale and market your business. I use this group for testing out messaging, and always find its members extremely helpful.

Online Marketing Made Easy

The Online Marketing Made Easy group is another one created originally for the listeners of a podcast that then morphed into much more. Amy Porterfield, the host of the Online Marketing Made Easy podcast, has developed this group into a great place for marketing resources and community among other entrepreneurs from all sorts of backgrounds.

Stay Social

Last but not least, the Stay Social group. This one is more of an invitation than a recommendation… but how could I leave it off this list? Stay Social is my newest creation; a go-to community for all things content creation and social media education. I’ll be sharing lots of assets for female entrepreneurs, with resources for all sorts of topics from crushing your content to standing out online. I’d love for you to join my community!

••••••••••••••••

Facebook may not be the ~coolest~ social media platform of 2020, but it’s definitely the most beneficial. To connect with me and tons of other female creatives in the digital marketing space, consider joining one of the above groups! (cough cough Stay Social cough cough).
